In an alternate dystopian present, a married couple in the southern Indian state of Kerala discuss whether or not to become immortal by taking a new high-cost implant. The couple decide to give immortality a three-day experimental trial period, but things don’t turn out the way they expect. A relationship drama with a unique sci-fi twist, Ennennum deftly explores the idea of unconditional true love in a world where ‘until death-do-us-part’ may not be an option.

Shalini Ushadevi
Shalini’s debut feature film Akam (Palas in Bloom) was screened at several international film festivals including Shanghai International Film festival, Dubai International Film Festival, Neuchatel International Fantastic Film Festival and the South Asian International Film Festival, New York.
In 2020 she received the national award for Best Screenplay for her work on the Tamil film Soorarai Pottru (Salute the brave) which she co-wrote with director Sudha Kongara. Her second feature film, Ennennum (Now and Forever), which she wrote, directed and produced debuted at the International Film Festival of Kerala in December.
She has written and developed content (fiction and non-fiction) in English, Malayalam, Tamil, Hindi and Telugu for several production houses across the country.
