#LoveLIFFatHOME extended by popular demand

This year, Bagri Foundation London Indian Film Festival and Birmingham Indian Film Festival joined forces to offer an online festival, LOVE LIFF AT HOME, a unique showcase of films and “In Conversation” interviews by leading South Asian talent.
We were overwhelmed by the success of the festival and are proud to announce that due to popular demand, we have decided to extend #LoveLIFFatHOME until 19th August.
You can still watch our “In Conversation” interviews, Classic LIFF Features and Short Film Winners FREE on WWW.LOVELIFFATHOME.COM. Some classic feature films and shorts are only available in the UK. Exclusive “In Conversation’ interviews are viewable world-wide.

2020 Award Winners

‘In Conversation’

Inspired by the current lockdown we’ve started a special online series of ‘In Conversation’ with interviews. We have interviewed some of the most influential names in independent film. We share candid, honest chats with directors, filmmakers and actors who chat about their homelife, career and their up and coming projects.

Watch some of our most popular films from over the last decade including the award-winning, documentary Song of Lahore about a group of musicians who travel from Pakistan to New York to perform at the Lincoln Centre. Directed by double Oscar winning, Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy this feel-good film won our Audience Award in 2015. Modern day comedy-romance Hank and Asha sees a couple who communicate via video blogs, and Uttara, an LGBTQ+ themed classic directed by legendary Bengali Director Buddhadeb Dasgupta, tells the story of two railway signal men whose passion for wrestling and relationship are put to the test when one of them gets married.

We are also screening some very special Q&As to accompany some of the films. It will be just like attending our usual Bagri Foundation London Indian Film Festival, just without having to leave your home!

Please help us support India’s lowest paid film workers

In this difficult time, we are mindful of the impact of production shutting down in India and are working with the Producers Guild of India to support their Relief Fund initiative for daily wage workers. Please help us support these workers. Any donation, no matter how small will make a difference. Thank you.
