Jump on a train to experience the festival’s exciting new Indian computer gaming premieres at FORMAT festival in LIVERPOOL. We’ve got India’s best game studios flying over!
In partnership with Tulsea, we are delighted to showcase a South Asian Gaming Zone with an amazing clutch of Indian games from emerging game developers. We’re so proud to be not only providing Indian developers an opportunity to exhibit their games in the United Kingdom for the first time, but also to give our community the chance to play games never seen outside of India before exclusively at FORMAT in Liverpool on Thursday 26th September.
Last year’s massive FORMAT gaming and nightlife event attracted over 2,500 attendees. This year’s South Asian Gaming Zone will be at Camp And Furnace in Liverpool, and looks to be a considerably larger event. We hope to see you there!

That’s a wrap on LIFF 2024
It was great to celebrate our 15th year, showcasing the best of new Indian and South Asian cinema, web series, emerging filmmakers’ shorts and exciting forays into XR and computer games. We would like to say a huge thank you to the whole team and all of our partners for making this happen and to you our audience, for standing by us and continuing to support our endeavours to make diverse independent cinema accessible. We look forward to seeing you next year.
